"Why I Hunt"
FILMMAKER BIO
I was born and raised in Harrah, Oklahoma, on a dirt road where my family were my neighbors and the outdoors felt like home. Some of my greatest memories were made hunting beside my dad in the woods and fishing alongside my granddad, the best fisherman I’ve ever known. Those hunting and fishing trips shaped me as a kid, stayed with me through adulthood, and became a part of who I am.
When I started my own family, I knew those traditions were something I wanted to pass down. Because to me, hunting has never been only about the pursuit of a trophy. It’s about something deeper. It’s about faith, values, respect for the land, and the ethics that come with being an outdoorsman. It’s about the lessons learned, the memories made, and carrying that way of life forward for the next generation.
As you’ll see in my films, this is more than hunting. It’s heritage, its purpose, and it’s the story of passing the torch.
